Stan Lee Martin Lieber was born on 28 December 1922 in New York City, USA. The father's name was Jack Lieber, who worked as a dress cutter. Mother's name was Celia. Stan Lee also has a younger brother named Larry Lieber. The financial condition of the family was not very good from the beginning. That is why his childhood went through a lot of poverty.

When Stan Lee grew up, his family shifted to The Bronx. Here he enrolled in a high school. Stan Lee started working from his school days in view of the poor financial condition of his home. In 1939, with the help of one of his uncles, he started working as an assistant in 'Timely Comics'. When he joined this company, he was given very small jobs. Like - filling ink in the pen, he also used to bring lunches for other employees working in the company. Apart from this, they used to collect files and take them from one place to another. But his ability was soon recognized there. When he was asked to write a comic book, Stan Lee created his first superhero character named Destroyer. This character was first seen in August 1941 in 'Mystic Comics'.

Stan Lee was made editor of the company when he was only 19 years old. He continued in this position for many years. However from 1942 to 1945, he also joined the US Army during the World War. After coming back from there, he joined 'Timely Comics' once again. In the 50s 'Timely Comics' was renamed to 'Atlas Comics'. During this time, Stan Lee had worked on many different characters. But by the end of the 50s,he was tired of doing this job and that is why he decided to quit this job. But the time was somewhat different.

DC Comics, the Rival company of 'Atlas', was growing rapidly at that time. If anyone could beat this company, it was only Stan Lee. The owner of Atlas Comics requests Stan Lee to stop, and Stan Lee stops while speaking to him. Now he started doing some new experiments in his stories. At that time he created some superheroes that also had shortcomings like humans. People liked this change very much. In November 1961, Stan Lee teamed up with Jack Curby to form the first superhero team, Fantastic Four, which became so popular that it further inspired Lee to work with Jack. '

After the arrival of 'Fantastic Four', the name of the company was changed once again from Atlas to 'Marvel Comics'. In future too, the two together designed characters like Thor, Iron Man, Spider-Man. In this way, Stan Lee remained the major face of the company even further. Once upon a time, the person bringing lunch for the people of the company was now prevalent all over the world. Stan Lee has also been the President and Vice President of 'Marvel Comics'. He has received many awards. Stan Lee died on 12 November 2018.
