Jim Carrey's full name
is James Eugene Carey. He was born on 17 January 1962 in Ontario, Canada. The father's name is Percy Carrie and
the mother's name is Kathleen Carrie. The father is a musician and was an
accountant. He also has a sister of three elder brothers and a sister. At the
young age of 10, Jim sent Carol Brunet his resume and
wrote a letter stating that she was a great actor. Jim has always believed in
himself. He struggled a lot to get work. When his father saw this, he organized
a stage act for Jim and gave an opportunity to put his comedy in front of the
world. The show took place in Toronto and Jim proved that he had the ability to
become a professional entertainer by mimicking different people in the show.
Jim then cameback on stage. In a very short time, they started doing paid shows
instead of free shows. His reputation was increasing. The Toronto Star
newspaper called Jim Carrey a rising star.

Jim's life came when Rodney took him to Dangerfield Las Vegas. There Jim
started performing at 'The Comedy Store'. They were now touching new heights.

films and went on to audition for the cast member of Saturday Night Live. He

on the same stage. He also worked in The Duck Factory in 1984. He
