Christopher Comstock 'Marshmallow' was born on 19 May 1992 in Philodelphia, USA. On 3 March 2015, at the age of 23, he posted his first original track 'Waves' on SoundCloud. Listening to Marshmallow's music on Soundcloud, his talent was first recognized by noted music producer Skrillex of America. Skrillex was so impressed with his music that he posted Marshamoul's Find Me track on his own SoundCloud page. Marshmallows became increasingly popular as soon as they posted this track. Millions of people heard his track. Seeing his increasing popularity, he soon got a chance to perform at different places.

He entertained people from his tracks at Miami Music Vic, 'Hard Day of the Dead Festival' and many different venues in New York itself. During these performances, he kept his face hidden behind Marshmallow's mask. Due to his strange look, people also started recognizing him fast.On 8 January 2016, Marshmallow released their debut album 'Joytime'. This album was well liked by the people.

 The album also ranked fifth on Billboard for a long time. Marshmallow had told in the beginning that he had come to do something big in the field of electronic dance music. On 2 July 2016, his track 'Alone' was released. After this, he became famous all over the world. The track received over 800 million views.On 20 August 2016, Marshmala told people about the 'Rich Tour' from his Twitter account in which he was seen performing with India in China, South Korea and Paraguay as well. With this tour, he also became very popular in India.

 People around the world used to enjoy Marshmallow's music tracks for almost 2 years, but people did not know whose face is behind this mask. Everyone wanted to see his face, especially his fans.

In November 2017, international magazine 'Forbes' recognized Marshmallow as an identity and told the world that Christopher Comstock is the DJ we know as 'Marshmallow' and 'Dotcom'. Meanwhile, Marshmallow released more tracks like 'Sissance' with Khalid Robinson and 'Wolves' with Selena Gomez. People loved 'Wolves' a lot. The track also reached the top 10 of 20 countries. Marshmallow also released tracks like 'Spotlight' with American rapper Lil Peep, 'There X2' with Slushy and 'Everyday' with rapper Logic. Even today his popularity has not diminished.
